Inverness hotel in the running for international award

A TOP Inverness boutique hotel is in the running for a major international award for its exceptional culinary and bar experience.

Contrast Brasserie within the four-star Glenmoriston Town House Hotel on the banks of the River Ness has been shortlisted in the Luxury Travel Guide Awards.

The awards are an international programme in recognition of high-end restaurants and bars.

Contrast, which is famed for its quality and locally sourced produce, which are served up with fresh twists each week, has been shortlisted for the Best Restaurant and Bar Experience in Europe in the exclusive line-up.

A selection of restaurants and bars across Europe who have impressed the awards team have been whittled down following nominations from customers, journalists and industry experts as well as the two million Luxury Travel Guide subscribers, all voting on who they feel is most deserving.

The awards recognise excellence in the hotel and bar industry across Europe and worldwide. The winners will be announced in mid October.

The Glenmoriston Town House Hotel which houses the largest whisky bar in Inverness, with over 260 varieties of malts on offer now also has its very own dedicated gin menu with more than 30 different types of the spirit available.
